Since 1983 JB Metropolitan Distributors have been serving the Sydney metropolitan area. JB Metro Adelaide has been serving SA since 2015 and NSW South Coast has been added to JB Metro's distribution since February 2020

Many ideas and schemes that start out in a blokes shed tend to stay there, never seeing the light of day, but in owner Bruce Spiteri's case, his small business Bruces Confectionery has made the transition from the family garage to become Australia's largest independent confectionery, snack food, grocery and beverage distribution company.

Based in the Sydney suburb of Moorebank and holding contracts with leading brands including Red Bull, Smiths, Nestlé, Mondelez, Mars, Wrigleys, Lipton Ice Tea and many more, JB Metropolitan Distributors is a very different operation to the 'mum and dad' business that began over 30 years ago.

With a dedicated staff of 240, a brand new fully equipped warehouse facility boasting state-of-the-art computer control systems, and a fleet of over 30 trucks and vans monitored using Satellite Navigation systems, the company is in the best position to bring to you a huge variety of confectionery, snack foods, groceries and beverages. Most deliveries are made within 24 hours of the order being taken.

JB Metropolitan Distributors has advanced IT systems that tracks your order from the time it's taken to the time it's delivered. This system starts with one of our sales representatives scanning your order on a portable data unit. Your order is then sent electronically to our warehouse where it is picked, packed & confirmation scanned in our modern climate controlled warehouse. We scan every order to make sure that what you order is what is delivered to your business. Combine this with a 24 hour delivery turn around, and you have a wholesaler that delivers exactly what you order* in a timely fashion.
